Financial Aid Counseling
financial_aid_counselingObtaining information on all the ins and outs of financial aid-the paperwork, the deadlines, what's available, when do I get it, who do I talk to, and a thousand other questions-can be overwhelming at first. You can find answers to most of your questions right here. But sometimes, you'll need or want to talk to a live person about your own particular situation. Fortunately, help is readily available. Your high school guidance office is a good place to start, if you're still in high school. Besides, most colleges have financial aid counselors, who are experts on pretty much everything that has to do with financial aid, such as what aid is available at their school, and how to apply, who to turn to in case you're denied, etc.

You may address them to get answer on your questions, and to get help on the aid you need to attend their school. Before going to visit them, you should probably call their office. Some financial aid counseling offices may require that you make an appointment first, although many of them are staffed to handle walk in clients. But don't hesitate to avail yourself of there services.
