AT&T Labs Fellowship Program
The AT&T Labs Fellowships include female and minority students who are going to have a PhD in computer and communications-related fields. Candidates are eligible if they are US citizens or permanent residents. The fellowship supplies its members with educational tuition and fees, a tutor who is a staff member at AT&T Labs, a monthly stipend of $1,400 a month. The fellowship is renewable for up to six years of support.

Beinecke Scholarship Program
The Beinecke Scholarship Program is offered to college juniors who intend to obtain graduate study in the arts, humanities, and social sciences at any accredited university. Each scholar receives $2,000 prior to be enrolled in graduate school and $30,000 while attending graduate school. The sum must be spent within five years of completing undergraduate studies. Each year a total of 18 new scholarships are given from among more than 100 nominations. Candidates must have nomination by a participating college or university. The nomination must be presented till March 1 and each college can nominate only one student for the award.

Bell Labs Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The Bell Labs Graduate Research Fellowships are for female and minority students obtaining a PhD in science, mathematics, engineering and technology. They are financed by the Lucent Technologies Foundation. The sum given by the fellowship includes full tuition and an annual stipend of $17,000 for up to four years of graduate study. Study can include Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Communications Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Statistics. Students are eligible if they seniors and first year graduate students.

Canon National Parks Science Scholars Program
There are eight fellowships to PhD students provided by the Canon National Parks Science Scholars Program for the Americas.  The program available for students throughout the Americas (Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean) who conduct conservation-related research projects in the biological, physical, social and cultural sciences, and technological innovation in support of conservation science. The purpose of the program is to support research on important problems facing the region's national parks. The fellowship gives $26,000 a year for up to three years. Eight fellowship winners are selected. Four honorable mentions will receive a one-time scholarship of $1,000. The application deadline is in early May.

Winston Churchill Scholarship Program
The Churchill Scholarship Program encourages young Americans to obtain graduate study in science, mathematics, and engineering at Churchill College and Cambridge University. Each year a total of 11 one-year Churchill Scholarships are given each year. The scholarship provides living expenses in addition to tuition and fees. Candidates must be US citizens who have earned a bachelor's degree but not a doctorate and between the ages of 19 and 26. Candidates must be nominated by their undergraduate college. Each college may nominate up to two students to apply for the Churchill Scholarship. Mid November is the Churchill Foundation's deadline. Each college may have earlier deadlines.
