Mary A. Mades Volunteer Scholarship Award The Mary A. Mades Volunteer Scholarship is given by the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston to a Beth Israel Deaconess volunteer who is going to obtain a degree or certification in health care. April 1 is the deadline.
Miller Memorial Blood Center Volunteer Scholarships The Miller-Keystone Blood Center finances a $1,000 scholarship. It is given to a graduating high school senior for volunteer efforts. The deadline is March 31.
Minnesota Historical Society Student Volunteer Scholarship Program Three $1,000 scholarships are given to high school seniors who are active members of the Minnesota Historical Society and who work 25 hours in volunteer service during the year.
Project V-FIRE Project V-FIRE is financed by the Erie County and the Erie Community College (ECC). ECC students who are the members of one of Erie County's volunteer fire companies or emergency services agencies are eligible for a tuition scholarship at ECC. V-FIRE recruits must commit to a service obligation of five years.
University of Iowa Health Care Volunteer Scholarships The University of Iowa Health Care proposes several scholarships for Iowa high school seniors and college students who have committed significant volunteer service at UI hospitals and clinics.
Washington Hospital Service League Volunteer Scholarships The Washington Hospital Service League offers two renewable $1,000/year scholarships for high school seniors and college students from the Washington Hospital District (Fremont, Newark, Union City, Hayward, Sunol) who are going to obtain a degree in a health-related field. Candidates have work at least 100 hours in volunteer service in a health-related field. The deadline is April 1.
